French Vanilla pudding cake

As usual I've been on Pinterest.  Unbelievable, I know!  While browsing I found an unusual recipe.  It was called chocolate dump cake.  It called for a chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix and chocolate chips.  Strange I thought, but wonderful nonetheless.  So I started looking in the pantry and found a few items that inspired me to whip up a new concoction.  I like to call it french vanilla pudding cake.  It is a super easy and super moist cake.....soooo good.

French Vanilla Pudding cake
1 Box French vanilla cake mix
1 small box instant cheesecake pudding
1 1/2 cups milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a large bowl mix all ingredients together on medium low until well blended.  After all ingredients are incorporated beat on medium high for 30-60 seconds or until smooth and creamy.  Pour batter into a buttered 9x13 pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with cake crumbs.  Cool completely before frosting.

Peanut butter frosting
1 stick butter softened
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
In a large mixing bowl cream together butter and peanut butter until smooth and creamy, slowly add powder sugar.   After incorporating sugar add milk and beat on high for 1 minute or until smooth and fluffy.  Spread onto cake and enjoy!
